SYSCOM GLOBAL SOLUTIONS has obtained the certification on “ISO / IEC 27001: 2013 / JIS Q 27001: 2014”, the international standard for Information Security Management System (ISMS) in December 2021.
■ Purpose of Certification Acquisition
While advances in IT nowadays make it possible to enjoy lots of positive aspects of technology, businesses are exposed to various threats such as information leakage, falsification, destruction, and loss. SYSCOM GLOBAL SOLUTIONS utilizes IT to provide ERP consulting, implementation support, and operational support services; and, therefore, handles confidential customer information. We are managing the ERP software package business operations in Japan, the United States, and other countries, and believe that it is our social responsibility to properly manage the information assets of our clients based on international standards. SYSCOM GLOBAL SOLUTIONS has obtained the ISMS certification to systematically implement measures to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets (information security measures), and to strengthen the information management and operation system within the company.
■ Future Efforts
Acquisition of the international standard for ISMS will further assist us in managing the confidentiality and safety of information in our possession based on international standards, We will continue to work on the improvement of the security level within our multinational company and will strive to further strengthen the information management system and operation.
